Help develop a data platform that powers advanced analytics, algorithm-driven products, and automation, driving exceptional customer experiences!

You’ll be working on robust data architecture that unifies on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance. This role drives strategic initiatives, enhancing and expanding our existing data capabilities.

About the role

Collaborate with Staff and Principal Engineers to design and implement a scalable, hybrid data platform aligned with business goals.
Audit existing data systems (on-premises and cloud) to identify gaps, optimise operations, and ensure best practices.
Map data flows across platforms, set SLAs, and ensure efficient, timely, and reliable data movement.
Develop a unified view of data assets, supporting analytics, data science, and machine learning with robust modelling principles.
Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining performance and enabling fast, self-service reporting and analytics.
Design frameworks for experimentation and behavioural data collection in collaboration with engineering teams.
Support governance, data quality, and compliance efforts, including PII handling and lifecycle accuracy.
Evaluate and recommend tools to enhance platform efficiency and business alignment.

About you

Delivered projects on-premise and in the cloud
Good understanding of CICD and basic development principles
Worked on big-data pipelines processing huge volumes of data

Essential Skills

Python
Cloud (Can be AWS, GCP or Azure)
Data Streaming - Kafka
SQL/NoSQL Databases
